White Island Tours offers you the incredible experience of exploring the inner crater of New Zealand’s only active marine volcano – White Island!  Located 49km off the coast of Whakatane, New Zealand, White Island Tours offers its visitors a 6 hour adventure to this fascinating island volcano.

We also offer quality accommodation in Whakatane at White Island Rendezvous which has an on-site café and gift shop.

Current Island and Tour Status: White Island is currently experiencing heightened volcanic activity. Tours are operating as normal however extra precautions are being taken on White Island to minimise any risk to visitors. White Island is currently on volcanic alert level 1, this indicates constant background activity and is the level that White Island usually sits at.
