Quality Assurance

Qualmark is New Zealand Tourism's official quality mark. It provides international and domestic visitors with a means of identifying professional and trustworthy New Zealand tourism businesses.

Two of the company’s operations have a Qualmark endorsement – the tour operation (White Island Tours) since 2004 and the motel (White Island Rendezvous) since 2002. The assessment process covered a range of criteria such as Customer Service, Facilities and Equipment, Staff, Environmental & Cultural Responsibilities and General Business Practices. Assessments of the tour and motel are conducted bi-annually in alternate years.
